Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll

A Monday August 16, 2004 Rasmussen Tracking Poll shows Senator John Kerry with 48% of the vote and President George W. Bush with 47%. Kerry has been at 47% or 48% for ten of the last twelve days. Bush has been at 45% or 46% for eight of those days. In fact, the President has been at 45% or 46% for 22 of the last 26 days.

    When are you going to update your website to reflect the current standings of the polls and Kerry’s lead in Ohio? I guess you are like the memos…keep it the same and no one will notice.

    The country is evenly divided. This election will come down to voter turn-out on election day. A major event will push the vote one way or the other. If nothing major happens, doubts about the war will give Kerry a very slim victory. But Republicans will attack vigorously from day one of a Kerry Administration, and only fortunate circumstances will allow a second term for a Democrat
